Can a chiropractor cause more pain?

I have had neck problems for about 6 months and i decided to go to a chiropractor. I had x-rays done and i need therapy for 3 months to adjust my neck. After a week of the therapy and cracking my neck, my neck feels the same but now my shoulder hurts and the pain shoots down my arm. I also got back pain as well. Which i didn’t have BEFORE going to the chiropractor.

So my question is this how suppose be in the beginning or is the chiropractor doing something wrong?

How much will an insurance company pay for a whiplash injury?

I was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer at a low speed (10 mph). There was only about 0 damage to the bumper of my SUV. I went to the emergency room and had x-rays and went to a chiropractor for 8 weeks for whiplash. The chiropractor charged 00 for treatment & the emergency room bills came up to 00. So, my total medical bills were 00. The other driver’s insurance company accepts 100% liability. Is 00 too much money to expect the other guy’s car insurance company to pay for treatment of a whiplash injury? I’m in NC.

Can somebody recommend a chiropractor in Las Vegas who will treat back pain on the initial visit?

I cannot find an honest chiropractor in Las Vegas. Most of them are more interested in finding things wrong with me and selling me additional services than treating my back pain. Are there any honest chiropractors out there who do not force x-rays, supplements, and frequent visits upon their patients? I am looking for somebody to treat my back pain on the first visit and will allow me to schedule follow up visits at my own pace.

Has anyone ever heard of treating severe acne with chiropractic therapy?

My son was diagnosed with moderate to severe acne (closer to severe than moderate, says the doctor), he was told he should be put on accutane. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories, so I looked into alternative medicine. I took him to a wellnes center, they took x-rays since his neck was tender. They found that C1,2 & 3 vertabrae are really out of line. I believe it is C3 that is pushing on his pituitary gland, they feel that this could be the cause of his acne. Has anyone every heard of anything like this? He is receiving physical therapy. I really hope it works for him, he’s only 14 and he’s been dealing w/severe acne for almost a year now and I’m so sad for him. He and my husband don’t believe this is going to work and I’m constantly butting heads with their closed minds. I just want to find a safe and effective treatment for him. Please let me know if you have any info. Thanks! Evie
