My regular wage was at that time 22.34 an hour with union benefits, Im originaly from San Diego ca and at the time of the injury I was in Saltonsea East south of river side, and I was getting paid subsistance. After the accident I was sent to the hospital in brawley and after that they cme and took me to their office in sandiego after that they said go home I saw my personal doctor but they said no!!! That I had to go to theirs, Iwent for some time then I stop going, I went to my chiropractorIfeelgood

What is California State Law with regard to breaks and lunches.?

Work in a three, Chiropractor Office. San Diego, CA. What is the Las with regard to breaks and lunches? It is a smaller business; three doctors, one only there 3 days out of 5, myself at 35 hours and a 9 hour a week filing girl. After working from 9 am until nearly 3:30 pm, I was denied a 15 minute break. Then was told to "walk around the office" for my break so one doctor didn’t have to answer his phone and I was expected to answer it during my break. I almost never take breaks or lunches 99% of the time due to it being primarilly myself working there and previous resistance to it. HELP! If they give you a break, can they demand you stay in the office, much less continue to work? To me that is not a break. Also told "do you pay me or do I pay you".

CA workers compensation herniated disc case settlement?

I’m 18 years old, worked for a huge company as a stock employee and herniated a disc in my lower lumbar spine at work. i went to the doctor who sent me for an MRI which showed i had herniated a disc. after that, he scheduled me for 5 weeks of chiropractic treatment, which only made things worse…i was then sent to a spine specialist who sent me to a physical therapist for a month and after the third week, i was sent back to the spine specialist orthopedist because the physical therapist concluded not only was my back not getting better, but it was getting worse. the orthopedist then gave me an epideral (cortozone injection into my spine) the injection did not work…and now he wants me to have an artificial disc replacement surgery, or something like that…which i have been advised against by many people due to my age…i have seeked opinions from other doctors who all say your only other option is surgery. i’m a full time student and dont have time for the surgery, nor do i want to have it right away. and i have severe pain down my leg from my sciatic nerve and a really hard time sleeping, cuz my back is in constant pain…should i request a settlement and how much should i expect. i have fallen out of shape over the past 4 months and havnt been able to play any sports, let alone walk for more than a half mile….i would like to have to surgery, but not for another 4 years, when im done with school. should i ask for enough in my settlement to be able to pay for the surgery..what should i do…im looking for advice.

thanks

Can your chiropractor/pain management doctor put you of out work due to pain?

Can your chiropractor/pain management doctor put you of out work due to pain?
If a pregnant women is having a lot of pain and suffering that she was having from a car accident before pregnancy and is having even more pain now due to pregnancy can her chiropractor send her on disability leave or does it have to be the OB/GYN? the policy at work state the employee needs a doctors note. It doesn’t say which doctor, so would it be ok to ask her chiropractor to put her out of work if her OB/GYN won’t put her out unless its a blood pressure issue..

What are possible causes for my lower back and leg pain?

I’m 22 and since about a year ago, I’ve been having lower back pain that’s been getting worst. I don’t do sports and there was no injury to the area. It comes and goes but it’s causing me more pain now and the pain is also in my legs. The pain is worst when I lie down at night and its a sharp pain radiating to a dull pain. The leg pain feels like nerve pain and it’s been making my legs very weak and I have trouble walking at times. I also get this weird tingling sensation in my lower body and it makes my legs weak and knees buckle. I’ve been to several doctors and they told me it was muscle pain at first, told me to exercise, and gave me anti-inflammatory meds. None of that worked, and they are having xrays dones and my CT scan is schedule for monday. I’m pretty nervous, and the doctory said she does not know what it is without the test results and does not know what the problem could be. Anyone have similar experiences and can tell me what it was or any ideas what it could be?
Will CT scans always be helpful to find out problems relating to my back pain? Seems like some of you think that I should not be getting a CT scan. What is the worst possible problem that could be causing my pain? I just want to be prepared. I don’t do any lifting or heavy exercise, so the slipped disc thing seems weird… Does it just happen?
