I live and work in San Diego, CA. I work for 3 Chiropractors. They are not a Group per say, individuals sharing an office and they divide my 35 per hours week pay by 1/3′s. Are there any laws with regard to bereavement pay? My father just passed away and they are not wanting to pay me for the one lousy day I took off. I will need more time off for a service in a couple weeks.
A dr. told me yesterday I have a fracture in my lower back that occured when I was 13 and I need surgery to fuse it together. Supposedly its common. The chiropractors says that the fracture healed and that they can adjust the disc that is out of line back in place. Surgery can cure everything or make me never the same. Getting adjusted can hurt me more or treat me without surgery… anyone ever been in the same situation?
My gorgeous Jack russel Jazz after a very scary day of running her from vets to hospital to a specialist has been diagnosed with a slipped disc! it has been only 3days since but she is still in pain & shaking, she is on pain meds every 12hrs for the mean time & an antibiotic just in case there is an infection around the injure. I am really egar to hear about any people who have been through the same with there dogs, the results to treatments & advice. she is currently confined to 1mx1m space but just weeps & tries to get out!!(she is a very active dog & till this happened she has ran with me everyday, as well as amusing & playing with her self through the day) she is so scared & doesn’t understand why she is in pain & can’t come out of the small space she is in, it is truly heartbreaking!!! i want to do what ever i can for her to feel better as soon as possible!!. Jazz is 11 & has a heart murmur & surgery for her would be a very high risk so i am praying & hoping it doesn’t come to that!! If anyone can help in anyway with previous experiences or advice it would be so much appreciated. I cannot find an honest chiropractor in Las Vegas. Most of them are more interested in finding things wrong with me and selling me additional services than treating my back pain. Are there any honest chiropractors out there who do not force x-rays, supplements, and frequent visits upon their patients? I am looking for somebody to treat my back pain on the first visit and will allow me to schedule follow up visits at my own pace.
