Slip Disc Treatment
What are some other treatments for a prolapsed (slipped) disc in my back?
About 2 months ago i injured my back due to heavy lifting. The doctor claims it was a prolapsed disc which pressed against the sciatic nerve running down my left leg.
I’m going to physical therapy for it, and they have me doing all sorts of excersises, but I’m afraid that they aren’t helping as much as they should. Somedays the pain is gone, but on others it is back as strong as ever. I’ve been on painkillers and muscle relaxants which I found I am allergic to, so I am currently not taking any medication for it.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I should do other than not straining the injured area? I’d like to avoid surgery. Thank you in advance.
HELP!! Has any1 been through a slip disc with there dog? Successful treatments? i want her to feel better :(?
My gorgeous Jack russel Jazz after a very scary day of running her from vets to hospital to a specialist has been diagnosed with a slipped disc! it has been only 3days since but she is still in pain & shaking, she is on pain meds every 12hrs for the mean time & an antibiotic just in case there is an infection around the injure. I am really egar to hear about any people who have been through the same with there dogs, the results to treatments & advice. she is currently confined to 1mx1m space but just weeps & tries to get out!!(she is a very active dog & till this happened she has ran with me everyday, as well as amusing & playing with her self through the day) she is so scared & doesn’t understand why she is in pain & can’t come out of the small space she is in, it is truly heartbreaking!!! i want to do what ever i can for her to feel better as soon as possible!!. Jazz is 11 & has a heart murmur & surgery for her would be a very high risk so i am praying & hoping it doesn’t come to that!! If anyone can help in anyway with previous experiences or advice it would be so much appreciated. After chiropractic treatment for a slipped disc in the back who would you see to continue your recovery?

I have under gone ozonucleolysis treatment for the cervic slipped disc at C5-C6 level. when will it recover?
C5-C6 disc shows a large paracentral and lateral herniation causing foraminal stenosis compressing the exiting nerve roots. Mild indentation of the cord seen. After taking the ozonucleolysis treatment, does the herniated disc shrink immediately at the time of administration of the said medical procedure or the process is slow and gradual. what could be the time period for the herniated dis to set at its original place whether it is possible after such treatment. Further what are the precautions to be taken by me in future so as to avoid further injury and pain. what are the exercises to be followed making the neck muscles strong so that the prolapsed disc does not cause problems in future. Is total recovery possible in such case after taking ozonucleolysis treatment?

When i walk, bend or sit long time, i feel pain in back and right testis also.
