A dr. told me yesterday I have a fracture in my lower back that occured when I was 13 and I need surgery to fuse it together. Supposedly its common. The chiropractors says that the fracture healed and that they can adjust the disc that is out of line back in place. Surgery can cure everything or make me never the same. Getting adjusted can hurt me more or treat me without surgery… anyone ever been in the same situation?
if so, did you find it useful? how many treatments did you receive, how regularily and what was the cost?

the pain is near the hip bone and travels to both sides. It is hard to sit and stand.
I got admissions from chiropractic school and physical therapy school.Both programs are doctorate course. Of course I love both schoo and Both jobs. I am female. Which has better aspect in the future? The patient of chiropractor is only asian?
My son was diagnosed with moderate to severe acne (closer to severe than moderate, says the doctor), he was told he should be put on accutane. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories, so I looked into alternative medicine. I took him to a wellnes center, they took x-rays since his neck was tender. They found that C1,2 & 3 vertabrae are really out of line. I believe it is C3 that is pushing on his pituitary gland, they feel that this could be the cause of his acne. Has anyone every heard of anything like this? He is receiving physical therapy. I really hope it works for him, he’s only 14 and he’s been dealing w/severe acne for almost a year now and I’m so sad for him. He and my husband don’t believe this is going to work and I’m constantly butting heads with their closed minds. I just want to find a safe and effective treatment for him. I have recently been dx with tmj. I had 3 surgeries (which required my mouth to be open) and 2 root canals done. Plus I clench at night and when stressed. I had some craniosacral therapy 1 time and I could see where this would really help but it’s expensive. Can a chiropractor help tmj too?
I am 33 years old and my doctor says that my backcbone curves to 30 degrees. I was advised to have an operation to implant some kind of supporter to prevent my backbone curving more or undergo a Documentation Based Care therapy from Finland, but I also heard claims about chiropractic therapy for scoliosis, others say Pilates or Yoga are also good. Please give me some input, my back pain is killing me
